Symbolic areas of Venice such as the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco, can be reached by foot or by vaporetto (water bus) in 20-25 minutes, while the railway station and Piazzale Roma is 15-20 minutes by foot.
Nearby you can discover real hidden treasures: Tintoretto’s masterpieces in the Church of Sant’Alvise, the Gothic-style cloisters of the Church of the Madonna dell’Orto and the house where Tintoretto resided.
Less than 10 minutes away from the apartments, you can visit the Angelo Orsoni furnaces (by reservation only). They’ve been supplying mosaic tiles for the decoration of monuments and luxury residences all over the world since 1888.
A few metres away from the residence there’s a large Conad supermarket, while along the nearby Fondamenta di San Girolamo, Ormesini and della Misericordia you can choose from over 30 typical restaurants and cicchetterie (or tapas restaurant).
Sports buffs will be glad to know that just three minutes away there’s a sports centre with a swimming pool and a climbing wall, while at five minutes two private schools offer Venetian rowing lessons on typical boats.
